A stone house above a quiet bay
Six rooms, one kitchen and a path down to the water. The day ends on the terrace, and the house is at its best after that.
Where every evening begins
Small on purpose
Few rooms, one kitchen and the water close by: everything the house does well comes from staying small.
Six rooms
Two rooms, three suites and the Press House, each with its own door to the garden.
One kitchen
Lunch is light and served on the terrace; dinner is a short menu that changes with the season.
Forty metres
Down the garden path to the cove, and the boat leaves from reception at sunrise.
Kelyra was a family house long before it was a hotel. A small team keeps it now, for a few guests at a time.
The kitchen, at ten on Tuesdays and Fridays, when guests cook with the chef.
What guests remember
A few words from people who have stayed.
“We booked the Hortus Suite for the children's twin room and ended up living in the garden ourselves: breakfast in the courtyard, a long bath at night, and the pool a minute away.”
Hannah Reiss
Hortus Suite
“The Press House is the most generous place we have ever stayed. Four of us cooked most evenings, sat out on the lawn until late, and nobody wanted to go home.”
Marco Bellini
The Press House
“Quiet in the way only small places manage. A pool that is never crowded, the sea from our terrace, and staff who remembered how we took our coffee after one morning.”
Sophie Lambert
Swallow Room
“Stone walls, a timber roof and a deep bath in the room, then dinner at the long table under the pergola while the hills went dark. Worth every hour of the journey.”
James Whitaker
The Kelyra Suite
“A friend insisted on the Terrace Room, and she was right: two red chairs, the sea in front of us all day, and the daybed under the stone wall in the afternoon.”
Elena Varga
Terrace Room
“The Lantern Suite gives you the pool before anyone else is awake, and the round skylight over the bed is the last thing you see at night. We are already planning September.”
Daniel Okafor
Lantern Suite
Aperitivo on the terrace
dinner from a menu that changes with the season
and on Thursdays a fire on the lower terrace
for whoever is still awake.
